About The Founders

Kikifer’s Entrepreneurial Academy (KEA) was founded in June of 2019 by husband and wife; serial entrepreneur power couple Bro. Henry & Sis. Keishonda. Possessing a strong Background in entrepreneurship with several successful business ventures on their resume, the power couple looked to enrich their portfolio by revolutionizing how education was distributed and offering a new and unique way of empowering students. Bro. Henry and Sis. Keishonda married Aug. 2006, has one daughter and has strong ties to their community. It is their goal to use Kikifer's Entrepreneurial Academy as a tool to turn impoverished, violent, drug and gang infested neighborhoods into affluent, safe and decent places to live by impacting the minds of youth with an alternative education that empowers them in real time.




Current KEA Administration. Co-founder and board member of 100 Strong. Serial Entrepreneur, Community organizer, author, speaker, mentor, educator.

Executive Director

Current acting Principal of KEA School. Retail store owner with dozens of google 5-star reviews, former public-school teacher with continued education and professional development experience.


Director of Human Resources

& Recruitment

Quality Assurance manager, recruitment and client care coordinator, and on-site trainer for over five years. Conducting background checks, drug tests, interviews. Also has experience in new-hires hands on training. Creates vital human resources related contacts and advertisements for companies. Works closely with staffing companies and the Illinois Workforce.

Director of Policy & Procedure

State coordinator for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Manages 22 collegiate and alumni chapters in the state of Illinois. Design, implement, and evaluate student-focused leadership development programs. Oversees and the implementation and evaluation of annual goals and objectives for student engagement.  


Vice President

40+ years of service in the public, academic, and special libraries. Current director of Chuck Jefferson Research Library. Her community service is centered on literacy, and STEM programs for young people.


KEA offers a unique approach to education with a strong focus on knowledge of self, self-determination, ownership, and group economics. By channeling its core learning systems around entrepreneurship and authorship, KEA was able to develop a revolutionary educational distribution system that emboldened its students to consistently compete and perform on the highest level academically as well as socially. 


KEA is constantly looking for professional volunteers to help assist our institution in a wide array of ways. Educational monitors, guest speakers, supervisors and teachers aide positions are currently open to be filled.   


KIKIFER'S Entrepreneurial Academy was founded with one purpose - to build a space for all students to grow, learn and create with each passing day. Through a unique teaching approach and a truly passionate staff, we help students develop academically and personally to their highest level.
